This unit standard is intended for people who function as a member of a team within unfamiliar and dynamic outdoor environments.
People credited with this unit standard are able to: prepare for a planned outdoor experience in unfamiliar and dynamic outdoor environment; interpret weather conditions and information and explain decision making for hazardous weather conditions in Aotearoa New Zealand; demonstrate knowledge of emergency response and care in unfamiliar and dynamic outdoor environments; participate in an outdoor experience as a member of a group within unfamiliar and dynamic outdoor environments; and reflect on own performance and participation during a planned outdoor experience.
