People credited with this unit standard are able to: describe flower biology and how bees obtain food; demonstrate knowledge of local bee flora and the influence of weather on honey flow; demonstrate knowledge of plants that contribute to poisonous honey, honey dew or bee toxicity; and describe, locate, and complete a harvest declaration.
