People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate knowledge of the principles of: the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992; industrial site hazard control, and the elements of a health and safety programme in a wood manufacturing industry.
This unit standard is designed for people who are, or wish to be, involved in the wood manufacturing industries and aims to enhance their knowledge of the principles of workplace health and safety.
