This unit standard is intended for the training and assessment of people working in or intending to work in the electronic security industry and covers the installation of security surveillance systems.
People credited with this unit standard are able to:
- demonstrate knowledge of surveillance system components;
- install components in surveillance systems;
- program surveillance systems; and
- test, commission, and handover surveillance systems.
