People credited with this unit standard are able to: coordinate the flow of bolts to the peeler and describe the consequences of non-conformance with workplace procedures; demonstrate knowledge of the fundamentals of the operation of log handling equipment; and operate and maintain log handling equipment for laminated veneer lumber (LVL) and plywood manufacture.
