This unit standard is for those who intend to work, or are working, in education settings or organisations in a supporting role with young people who have additional needs in positioning and mobility.
People credited with this unit standard are able to: demonstrate knowledge of positioning and mobility for young people; demonstrate knowledge of adaptive equipment use in accordance with a young person''s plan in positioning and mobility; and demonstrate knowledge of and support the implementation of a positioning and mobility plan for a young person.
