This unit standard is for personnel employed in the fire protection industry and covers surveys and selection of hand operated fire fighting equipment as defined by NZS 4503:2005.
People credited with this unit standard are able to: undertake surveys to identify fire risks; select hand operated fire fighting equipment and locations, and complete reports on surveys; prepare a report on findings for the customer.
