Strategic Purpose Statement |
The purpose of this qualification is to provide Aotearoa New Zealand with graduates who can use digital tools and platforms to plan, develop and analyse content and information, in ways that enhance productivity and innovation in organisations.
Graduates will be confident users of digital tools and platforms, including cloud-based systems, collaborative tools and low-code/no-code solutions, who can apply these capabilities to solve problems and support effective decision-making. While this qualification shares some tools and techniques with more technically oriented IT qualifications, its focus is on applied digital fluency and workplace productivity. Graduates of this qualification will have the skills to enable them to proceed to further study and contribute to society by supporting digital proficiency and using their digital capability in a range of community and voluntary areas. |
