This qualification is for individuals who are existing education support/ teacher aides or seeking an education support/ teacher aide position.
Graduates will be able to work under broad guidance, and effectively support learning from early childhood to tertiary and community education. |

Graduates of this qualification will be able to:
- Apply knowledge of the ethical, legal and professional responsibilities related to education support contexts in order to maintain the health, safety and wellbeing of children. - Establish and maintain reciprocal and responsive professional relationships with all stakeholders to encourage learning, within an education support context. - Apply principles of inclusive practice to achieve positive and equitable opportunities for diverse learners. - Apply key theories of learning and human development, within specified education and community contexts. - Assist teachers with the planning, implementation and evaluation of teaching and learning, using resources, technologies and systems to meet specific outcomes. |
