Strategic Purpose Statement |
This is a specialised programme designed to support students to acquire the building blocks of digital marketing. It provides for acquisition and application of a holistic understanding of key areas to focus when developing a digital marketing strategy. Students will learn about key digital channels and disciplines, digital marketing analytics and how to integrate these cohesively to make informed and strategic decisions within the digital and social ecosystem.
The structure of the programme assumes an introductory focus to digital marketing and digital consumer basics and gravitates to digital marketing channels and digital marketing analytics before allowing for students to embed their knowledge and skills in digital marketing capabilities within a coherent digital marketing strategy. The programme provides theoretical as well as practical insights allowing students to develop new skills, understand and harness the value of a constantly evolving digital marketing industry. On successful completion of the programme, students will have developed a creative 'Portfolio' that showcases their learning and command over digital tools, techniques, channels and strategies covering key learning outcomes of the programme that they can use to enhance their job prospects upon graduation. This programme is targeted for those who need to understand digital disciplines in more depth to keep abreast of the digital revolution in marketing, for those who are desirous of pursuing a profession in digital marketing, for existing marketing professionals who are already involved in the planning, implementation or measurement of digital marketing strategies and tactics, and even business owners and other professionals who want to exploit and extend the digital arena for business enhancement. |

Entry Requirements |
Both domestic and international students must be at least 18 years of age.
Minimum entry requirements are a Level 6 Diploma in Business and/or Marketing and/or IT or related discipline; And/or A Degree or a 3-year Diploma equivalent in any discipline If applicants do not have a formal qualification, they can still apply if they have a minimum of 3 years of suitable work experience. Such applications will be assessed by TIA's Academic Board. International Students must have IELTS of 6.0 overall with no band score lower than 5.5 or NZQA approved equivalent. |
