Strategic Purpose Statement |
The 60 credit level 8 Postgraduate Certificate in Leading Change for Good (PGC-LCG) programme aims to provide people with the knowledge and skills to effectively lead sustainable change and progress resulting in authentic value for their communities, organisations, and businesses. Specifically, the qualification is designed to enable those in relevant industries (social enterprises, charities, not-for-profit and organisations focused on purpose over profit) and/or communities to develop the capability to instigate and lead collaborations and partnerships, and apply environmentally, socially, and financially sustainable practices for positive impact in times of change.

Graduate profile |
Graduates of the PGC-LCG will be able to:
1. Identify and adapt new and emerging business models committed to prioritising purpose over profit to generate authentic value for community benefit. 2. Evaluate and apply contemporary leadership approaches to drive change for positive impact on communities, organisations and businesses. 3. Identify and address leadership capability and professional capacity as an individual and as an organisation to influence collective impact, amplify benefits and enable sustainable progress. 4. Develop, justify, and apply strategies to lead sustainable solutions for people and places in the context of changing social, economic, political, and cultural environments. |

Education pathways |
Graduates of the PGC-LCG may progress into further postgraduate study, including Postgraduate Diplomas and Master's degrees. The PGC-LCG is also a potential pathway into the Master of Contemporary Education.

Entry Requirements |
To be admitted to the PGC-LCG, all applicants must:
- have a recognised bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification or higher Or - have at least four years' professional experience in a relevant industry or community demonstrating equivalence or higher to the qualification stated above. Note: To ensure that the PGC-LCG is relevant to the applicant, a brief Statement of Intent is required. The Statement of Intent is used to ensure potential students understand the programme, and to allow The Mind Lab to help ensure the programme is a good fit for the student. In addition and at the discretion of the admission/selection panel, interviews may be required. |
