Strategic Purpose Statement |
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the marine, maritime, composite, or specialised technology sectors, with competent and experienced people who are able to manage complex vessel technology manufacturing projects in these sectors.
This qualification is for people who intend to specialise in vessel technology project management, which encompasses development, and manufacturing of various types of vessels including boats, ships, and rockets. Graduates will be able to lead and manage a vessel technology project life cycle for marine, maritime, composite, or specialised technology industries. |

Graduates of this qualification will be able to:
- Lead a vessel technology manufacturing project team to manage and allocate project resources. - Generate and execute a vessel technology project management plan, communication plan, and project risk assessment to manage a manufacturing project. - Apply project management skills, knowledge, tools and techniques, to manage the critical path of the lifecycle of a vessel technology manufacturing project. - Apply and interpret knowledge of project contractual, financial and time management requirements to meet organisational, client, and stakeholder expectations for a vessel technology manufacturing project. |
