Graduate profile |
GPO 1: Critically analyse and interpret biblical texts using sound hermeneutical methods, with attention to their theological significance and application within specific ministry settings.
GPO 2: Articulate and communicate a Christian worldview with particular emphasis on the role of the gospel in providing an ethical framework for personal living. GPO 3: Demonstrate skills in critical thinking and self-directed research, using a range of sources and methods. GPO 4: Critically analyse contemporary issues and challenges impacting Christian ministry and formulate contextually appropriate responses informed by bicultural and multicultural perspectives within Aotearoa New Zealand. GPO 5: Articulate a comprehensive understanding of Christian doctrine and tradition, demonstrating theological insight and contextual awareness. |

Entry Requirements |
Entry is open to degree graduates. Those who can demonstrate appropriate equivalent practical, professional or educational experience may be considered for admission through a Recognition of Prior Learning process, which will be accessed by the Academic Committee.
International Students or applicants whose first language is not English will, generally, require an overall band of 6.5 or higher in IELTS (academic), with a minimum of 6.0 in reading and writing. Students may apply for a waiver from the IELTS requirement if they are able to supply ample evidence of English capability from another test or by having completed other qualifications in English. Minimum age is 18 years. |
