Entry Requirements
1. An undergraduate degree in a health science with a B+ pass or better.
2. Where the applicant may have less than a B+ average in his/her undergraduate degree, she/he may be provisionally accepted.
3. Where an applicant does not hold an undergraduate degree:
- The applicant shall provide evidence of having completed a relevant professional qualification, and
- Provide evidence of successful completion of a relevant qualification or programme of study which is equivalent to those of first degree graduates, through the submission of a portfolio.
4. A personal interview may assist the application process.
Approved subjects include Social Sciences.
Applicants must also be proficient in Te Reo Maori.

Credits

The credit value relates to the size of the qualification. One credit equates to ten hours of learning. One year's full-time study at a provider is usually 120 credits, but if you are studying part-time or in the work place the credit value may vary.
