Strategic Purpose Statement |
Graduates of the Diploma of Digital Film-Making (Level 6) programme will be able to demonstrate:
·The ability to gather and analyse information from a diverse range of sources ·The ability to recommend and implement innovative solutions to workplace problems. ·The ability to reflect on their actions, and those of others, gaining learning from both successes and failures. ·The ability to practice a range of digital film production skills underpinned by a body of knowledge. ·An organised approach to problem solving using critical thinking applying technological and conceptual design skills. ·Understand effective communication and interpersonal skills in a variety of cultural contexts, including team management towards a completed project outcome. ·Acceptance of responsibility for self direction and development of effective working practices ·An ability to articulate filmmaking principles and strategies that can be translated into the low-budget production environment for maximum audience satisfaction. ·Demonstrate through a final portfolio of work, technical skills in specific post-production software. |
