Strategic Purpose Statement |
Students will have ability to improvise and creatively implement new technologies. · They will be capable of helping create and develop products, systems and services for diverse cultures.· They will be reasonably flexible integrators in the development process and a source of creative guidance to others seeking to realise their own creative products and services.They will have research skills required to unlock information sources underpinning their professional practice and to lay the foundation for life-long learning· They will be employable, with an understanding of the world of work including commercial awareness and some knowledge of professional environments and the cultures of work.· They will be capable of participating in multidisciplinary teams working in both community situations, commercial and competitive business environments.· They will be able to deal with some of the concepts and implications of different materials and technologies as they affect people, profits and the environment.· They will be able to play a role in managing creative and design development processes; recognizing and acting upon issues of social and environmental responsibility.· They will understand and communicate the cultural, social and contextual significance within the implementation of creative and design strategies.·They will be articulate spokespeople both visually and verbally, communicating to variable audiences within their domains of professional practice.· They will be able to proceed to Level 7 Bachelor of Creative Technology

The credit value relates to the size of the qualification. One credit equates to ten hours of learning. One year's full-time study at a provider is usually 120 credits, but if you are studying part-time or in the work place the credit value may vary.
