Strategic Purpose Statement
Graduates will have: the ability to identify and solve sport business problems in the business environment; the ability to obtain, prepare, analyse and provide management information; the ability to express opinions independently on sport management related issues; the ability to consider issues from a holistic perspective; and the ability to resource and deploy pertinent information in the domestic and international sporting context; along with a range of personal and interactive attributes, including awareness of and ability to demonstrate ethical behaviours, and team working skills, including the ability to work effectively in teams taking a leadership role when necessary. A graduate of the Bachelor of Sport Management will be able to proceed to postgraduate programmes in sport management or in the wider management and business area. Graduates will be able to gain employment in the sport sector - including but not restricted to working for regional and national sport organisations, regional sport trusts, community sport, sport development, sport marketing, sport communication, local and regional councils, sport facilities and sport events, both nationally and internationally.

Credits
