Admission to the Graduate Diploma in Screen Arts requires that the candidate will have met the University admission requirements as specified; and will have been awarded or qualified for a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent; or been assessed by Academic Board or their delegate as having equivalent practical, professional and scholarly experience at the appropriate level In all cases candidates must be selected into the Graduate Diploma following a selection process which will include the assessment of a portfolio of work submitted by the candidate and, at the discretion of Academic Board or their delegate, an interview.

Content |
The Graduate Diploma in Screen Arts consists of an approved coherent course of study of advanced degree level courses totalling 120 credits. A maximum of 45 credits of the programme can be at 200 level, with a minimum of 75 credits at 300 level or above. All courses in the Graduate Diploma in Screen Arts are from the Bachelor of Screen Arts with Honours schedule. Students enrol in these courses and are taught in the same classes as their degree-studying peers. Thus for each course the resources, content, work requirements, assessment and standard of achievement are the same as for the bachelors degree programme.
