Content |
Curriculum includes classical and contemporary technique, pas de deux or modern partnering, classical or contemporary repertoire and Maori studies. Contemporary students study composition and improvisation; classical students study pointe. Men's classes focus on physical strength, power and brilliance with emphasis on elevation, pirouettes and batterie. The Diploma focuses on professional development and performance, offering students a range of diverse performance experiences including secondments with professional companies and choreographers both nationally and internationally.

The credit value relates to the size of the qualification. One credit equates to ten hours of learning. One year's full-time study at a provider is usually 120 credits, but if you are studying part-time or in the work place the credit value may vary.
