Entry Requirements |
If you are under 20 years of age, and applying directly after leaving a New Zealand secondary school, you will need to have:
Completed Year 13; and Gained a minimum of 14 Level 3 NCEA credits in at least one approved subject; and A satisfactory level of achievement in at least two other NCEA Level 3 subjects; and Met numeracy requirements for university entrance, and Achieved at least 3 credits in reading and 3 credits in writing at Level 2 or higher in English or Te reo Mÿori on the National Qualifications Framework. These literacy credits must be from a schedule of approved achievement and unit standards. |

The credit value relates to the size of the qualification. One credit equates to ten hours of learning. One year's full-time study at a provider is usually 120 credits, but if you are studying part-time or in the work place the credit value may vary.
