Strategic Purpose Statement |
PGDipActSc graduates will be able to apply advanced actuarial techniques, including stochastic processes, generalized linear models, big data analysis and asset/liability modelling. They will have a professional-level knowledge of the Actuarial Control Cycle and corporate risk management strategies. High performing graduates will be able to proceed to the Master of Actuarial Science. Graduates will be well prepared to take leadership roles in the actuarial field.

Entry Requirements |
A Bachelor's Degree or Graduate Diploma with an average grade of B+ or better in the relevant subjects, with a major in Actuarial Science, Finance, Statistics or a related field.

The PGDipActSc is a 120 point qualification. All students complete courses in the Actuarial Control Cycle and Data Analytics Principles as well as 75 points in required Finance and Statistics courses.
