The purpose of this standard is to provide a wide range of stakeholders with the knowledge required to understand the impacts of methamphetamine contamination, and the industry measures involved in decontaminating properties. People credited with this unit standard will be able to explain the impacts of contamination by methamphetamine manufacturing and use on property; and the purpose and processes of testing property for contamination, and decontamination of contaminated property.
