People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate knowledge of: feeders, screens and conveyer systems; variables related to gravity separation devices, pumps and cyclones; electrical componentry and safety practices for electrical faults applicable to alluvial gold plants; a basic hydraulic circuit; and the key components of alluvial gold plants.
