This unit standard is for fire and emergency personnel working with aircraft at emergency incidents and being transported by aircraft to remote locations.
People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate:
. knowledge of hazards and safe practices when working with the aircraft during an emergency incident;
. safe procedures for the loading and unloading of personnel and equipment from the aircraft during an emergency incident, and
. knowledge of survival procedures in the event of an aircraft emergency landing.
