This unit is for people in the drycleaning industry. People credited with this unit are able to: describe the use of perchloroethylene in drycleaning; describe the harmful effects of perchloroethylene; describe the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017 classifications and controls assigned to perchloroethylene; and demonstrate knowledge of Worksafe Industry Guidance in relation to perchloroethylene use for drycleaning.
