People credited with this unit standard are able to describe: the nutrient requirements of pigs and feed quality; the effects of major feed ingredients in premixed feeds used in pig diets; feeding systems, feeding methods and feeding levels for pigs; and milling, mixing, storage, additives and contamination of pig feeds.
