People credited with this unit standard are able to: prepare transport and accommodation requirements for a horse travelling to a destination for a short-term period; prepare a horse for travel, travel with a horse to destination, and unload a horse; attend to immediate post-travel activities relating to horse and vehicle; and settle horse into new environment, manage horse during stay, and maintain facilities while in short-term accommodation.
