People credited with this unit standard are able to: identify forest hazards, associated risks and workplace risk control systems; describe safe driving practices in a forest environment; demonstrate knowledge of general safety requirements in a forest environment; and, demonstrate knowledge of procedures used in the event of a forest emergency.
