People credited with this unit standard are able to describe: the role of human factors in aeronautical engineering accidents and incidents; physical and mental factors that affect human performance in aircraft maintenance work; social psychological issues that affect human performance in aircraft maintenance work; the effect of the work environment on human performance; and the causes and mitigation of human error in aircraft maintenance.
