- demonstrate core knowledge of regulation, including its purpose and intended outcomes, and acting in the public interest;
- demonstrate introductory knowledge of Te Ao Maori in relation to regulatory practice;
- provide an overview of New Zealand''s regulatory system; and
- describe an organisation''s regulatory role.
