This unit standard is for the induction of people to undertake helicopter safety and underwater escape training before being transported by helicopter in an energy and chemical offshore installation environment.
People credited with this unit standard are able to: identify and describe helicopter safety and escape equipment, techniques, and procedures; and demonstrate escape and emergency techniques for a helicopter in the sea, for an offshore installation environment.
