People credited with this standard are able to describe the whakapapa of a specific form of nga taonga takaro in accordance with the tikanga and kawa of a local iwi or hapu; explain and participate in whakawhanaunga through participation in nga taonga takaro in accordance with the tikanga and kawa local iwi or hapu; demonstrate awareness of purakau associated with takaro in accordance with the tikanga and kawa of a local iwi or hapu; and participate using tewhatewha in accordance with the tikanga and kawa of a local iwi or hapu.
