This unit standard applies to the establishment of water supplies from its source (both pressure fed and static), to and from pumps up to the point of delivery.
People credited with this unit standard are able to:
. identify water supplies for fire and emergency operations;
. select and connect hoses, waterway equipment, and construct a portable dam to deliver water supplies; and
. restore site and recommission equipment after use.
