People credited with this unit standard are able to: identify a range of tools and equipment, and demonstrate the use of appropriate safety equipment; sharpen hand tools using files, oilstones or grindstones, and electric bench grinders; and check and service two-stroke and four-stroke small engines used in a primary industry operation.
