91208: Perform a theatre dance to communicate understanding of the dance.
Updated May 2015. This document has been updated, but there are no new moderation issues.
For students to meet the requirements of this standard they must be able to communicate an understanding of the dance. Therefore an explanation of what the dance is about and/or the choreographic intention for the dance must be included in task materials. A dance that is clear in its intention will offer more opportunity for students to achieve at all levels of this standard than a dance that has little substance or emotional content to it.
