Strategic Purpose Statement
The Postgraduate Business Project is a practical project work requiring students to investigate a particular aspect of an organisation's business or management practices. Students will be required to spend some time on the organisation's premises. This may range from as little as 10 hours up to 50 hours, depending upon the project's scope.

- Demonstrate competence in a range of areas relevant to management practice at senior levels.
- Communicate and interact effectively with other people within an organisation.
- Comprehend, analyse and evaluate internal and external environmental forces, and develop strategy for the management of change.
- Analyse developments in a chosen area of management, and to critically evaluate the relationships between such developments and contemporary theory and practice.
- Further enhance their managerial skills through a commitment to ongoing managerial development.
- Apply their knowledge of current behavioural, policy and strategic issues to their experience of organisations so as to improve organisational efficiency.
- Integrate a thorough understanding of the relevant political, cultural and business environment, and of the ethical standards in modern business to improve organisational practice.

Entry Requirements
Applicants must have a degree or a minimum of five years full-time equivalent work experience, which includes relevant experience, as determined by the Director, USQ Australian Graduate School of Business. International candidates for admission must demonstrate appropriate English language ability through English as a first language; at least two years of prior successful full-time study in which English was the language of education; or an IELTS (Academic) grade 6.5 (or better (no component lower than 6.0).

Credits
