Strategic Purpose Statement |
Graduates will be able to apply their multidisciplinary practical and theoretical skills to politics, government and related fields. They will be able to think across boundaries and engage critically with a range of different material. They will be skilled oral and written communicators who apply critical and reflective thinking, logic and persuasion to their work. Graduates will be able to work in politics, the government sector and NGOs. The MPPE is strongly focused on employability but graduates may be able to continue to doctoral study, depending on their research background.

Content |
Compulsory taught courses on political philosophy, comparative political science, economics and a core course looking at the intersection of the three disciplines. These courses will be augmented with an internship and a capstone research project building on the material covered in the rest of the programme.

The credit value relates to the size of the qualification. One credit equates to ten hours of learning. One year's full-time study at a provider is usually 120 credits, but if you are studying part-time or in the work place the credit value may vary.
