Prime Minister's Award 2021
The Prime Minister’s Award for Academic Excellence recognises the success of the very top New Zealand Scholarship student in the country. The recipient has the most outstanding examination results and the highest overall academic excellence of all the Premier Award winners.
The recipient of the 2021 award was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister, Hon Grant Robertson, on 11 May 2022 – Cameron Senior, formerly of Rangitoto College.
Cameron achieved Outstanding Scholarships in Art History, English, Geography, Health and Physical Education, History, Physics, and Statistics.
Cameron is currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at the University of Auckland, with a goal of gaining entry into the medical programme.
The Associate Minister of Education, Hon Jan Tinetti, with the winner of the Prime Minister's Award for Academic Excellence - Cameron Senior, formerly of Rangitoto College.
