How to find out more about the performance of a school before enrolling your child

You can find out about a school or check on its performance before enrolling your children.

Managing national assessment (MNA) reports

NZQA reviews how secondary schools assess students' work. We make sure assessment is:

  • valid
  • fair
  • consistent
  • reliable
  • accurate and to the national standard.

The reports on these reviews are called Managing National Assessment reports, or MNA reports.
