People credited with this unit standard are able to: demonstrate basic knowledge of abalone (paua); describe the basic living requirements of farmed abalone; describe abalone farm procedures; describe the abalone farming industry structure and size in New Zealand; and describe the consumer products and consumer markets for the abalone.
