People credited with this unit standard are able to describe and use safe work practices on a rock lobster harvesting vessel; describe handling requirements for captured rock lobster; participate in the baiting and setting of rock lobster pots, the retrieval of rock lobster pots, and the landing of captured rock; and describe and participate in the inspection and repair of rock lobster pots.
