This unit standard is for people working, or intending to work, in horticulture.
People credited with this unit standard are able to: describe the importance of irrigation in horticulture production; identify and describe the range of irrigation systems used in New Zealand horticulture; describe a typical irrigation system; and demonstrate knowledge of water sources, water permit regulations and water conservation.
