People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate knowledge of the process of digestion in poultry; identify the signs of nutrient deficiency, oversupply and imbalance in poultry; identify feed ingredients, and describe feed manufacturing, feed digestibility, and the effects of contamination in feed ingredients; and demonstrate knowledge of feeding systems, methods, and feeding levels for poultry.
