Strategic Purpose Statement |
This qualification is for people who want to lead change management by implementing Whānau Ora praxis.
The purpose of this qualification is to provide graduates with specialised knowledge, skills and experience to examine moderately complex situations impacting whānau, to generate Whānau Ora models of practice. Graduates of this qualification will be able to adapt and lead effective application of te ao Māori philosophies and theories of Whānau Ora. |

Graduates of this qualification will be able to:
- Lead a co-ordinated Whānau Ora approach for moderately complex projects to motivate others, using customised communication media and methods with a range of audiences, as an expression of whanaungatanga. - Examine and generate specialised technical or theoretical knowledge in Whānau Ora to achieve best outcomes for whānau, as an expression of kaitiakitanga and te pono me te tika. - Design, lead, and evaluate an activity or project in a dynamic Whānau Ora environment managing one or more teams in workplace contexts, as an expression of manaakitanga and pūkengatanga. - Critically reflect on self and performance of others and implement problem solving techniques to generate solutions for moderately complex situations, as an expression of rangatiratanga. |
